Policies
Life happens and sometimes things don’t work out as planned. These policies are made if in the case you need to cancel within the 24hour mark of your appointment.
*Exceptions can be made in extenuating circumstances.
Deposits are non-refundable and forfeited if you cancel or reschedule on the same day.
Rescheduling: One free reschedule is allowed with 24+ hours' notice. Reschedules within 24 hours incur a $10 fee. A second reschedule within 24 hours forfeits the deposit and requires a new one to rebook.
Late Arrivals: 5-minute grace period. If you're too late to be seen, it’s considered a same-day cancellation and the deposit is forfeited. If only some services can be completed, the full original balance still applies. If all services are completed, a $10 late fee will be added.
Menstruation: You can still be waxed while on your period if wearing a tampon. If you cancel due to discomfort, same-day cancellation policy applies.
Contact: For questions or concerns, text (613) 410-1624.
Membership Policies
- All other services outside of the included monthly service(s) are 10% off when signing up for this membership. Discount will be applied to remaining balance upon completion of service.
- Standard deposit policies apply, with the monthly membership payment considered as the deposit.
- A 30-day notice is required to cancel a membership. If the membership is cancelled within the 30-day period, the full payment will still be processed.
Example 1
Client: Sarah
Booking: Full leg and underarm wax (two services)
Appointment Time: 2:00 PM
Arrival Time: 2:08 PM
Outcome:
Sarah arrives 8 minutes late. The grace period is 5 minutes, and since her arrival exceeds this, it would have been considered a same-day cancellation. However, the esthetician is able to perform the full leg wax. Despite receiving part of the services booked, Sarah is still charged the full amount for the original appointment.
Example 2
Client: Jamie
Membership: Monthly recurring Brazilian Babe membership
Appointment Date: July 15
Cancellation: Cancels at 11:00 AM for a 5:00 PM appointment
Outcome:
Jamie cancels on the same day, which means the monthly payment (deposit) is forfeited. She decides to rebook for July 20. Since this is within the same month, she must create a new appointment with a deposit for the service — but at the discounted membership rate.
Example 3
Client: Olivia
Booking: Brazilian wax (one service)
Appointment Time: 3:00 PM
Call Received: 2:50 PM — Olivia calls to say she’s running late and asks to reschedule, estimating arrival at 3:10 PM
Outcome:
Because Olivia is requesting to reschedule on the same day, this falls under the same-day cancellation policy. The esthetician is unable to accommodate her late arrival or reschedule on such short notice due to the day's schedule, so the appointment is cancelled. As a result, Olivia's deposit is forfeited, and she must place a new deposit to book again.
Had she still chosen to arrive at 3:10 PM, she would have been more than 5 minutes late, exceeding the grace period. In that case, if the esthetician was still unable to take her, the appointment would be treated as a same-day cancellation, and the deposit would still be forfeited. If the esthetician was able to perform the service, a $10 late fee would apply.
